What is NST? What is Neurostructural Integration?
What is Bowen therapy?
NST* is Neurostructural Integration is Bowen therapy.
Who and what is "Bowen?" You might say that Tom Bowen, the brilliant Australian healing facilitator and innovator who developed this non-invasive hands-on modality was the Samuel Hahnemann of the manual healing arts. Bowen and its descendants (NST, Bowen Bridge, Neural Touch) can be considered the homeopathy of bodywork. They are minimal pieces of information offered to the neural networks through the soft tissue, which enable the body's own profound and powerful self-healing mechanisms to kick into gear. The cells of the body retain a pattern of functional integrity which can be triggered by specific anatomical info-bytes delivered through NST/Bowen. This system has been shown to favorably impact organic as well as structural functions of the body.
Because NST can so deeply act on structural functions, it is an excellent adjunct for homeopathy clients who may have structural problems, and will augment the effects of homeopathy and vice versa. However, NST has also proven to be an effective stand-alone approach.
NST is practiced through Homeopathy Center of Houston by Julie Adams.
