Philosophy:
We at Houston School of Homeopathy believe that homeopathy is an inspired system of healing that holds the key to many health problems, including those unanswerable or compounded by modern medicine. We hope homeopathy may ultimately find its rightful place as less of an "alternative" and more of a "mainstream" modality of healing. It is already accepted in many countries around the world, in Europe, India and Pakistan, South and Central America, and Canada as an equally acceptable form of medicinal treatment with conventional 21st century modern medicine. We hope to see homeopathy's natural, gentle, and deep healing become equally acceptable in our nation. In order to handle the complexities of today's multi-faceted, multi-layered illnesses, it is necessary to "think outside the traditional box." This includes thinking outside both the conventional medical approach to illness and the typical classical homeopathic approaches to illness. Because of the methods we have been practicing with great success for many years we have chosen to teach a less traditional approach to homeopathy, Sequential Homeopathy.
Sequential homeopathy
Sequential homeopathy is a systematic, logical approach that includes an understanding of "classical" homeopathy, Hahnemannian homeopathic principles, and timeless principles of natural healing, then updates it to meet today's more complex challenges of toxicity and stressors.
Sequential/Integrative Homeopathy
* Detoxifies the body
* Releases toxic repressed emotions
* Removes traumas of emotional, physical, medical or chemical exposure in reverse sequential order
* Is deeply healing
* Can reverse much of the damage by the traumas of life, including vaccine trauma
* Works in reverse sequence to the events that have occurred in a person's life to heal each layer as it arises.
* Makes sense to the body, mind and soul, because it uses the divinely-designed mechanisms for healing, instead of working against them to slap temporary "bandages" on symptoms.
* Seeks to heal the causation of illness or injury, not just the symptoms.
Sequential/Integrative Homeopathy is a systematic, yet entirely individualized approach to natural healing and health. Based upon the work of Jean Elmiger, M.D. of Switzerland, it involves a step-by-step unlayering process of the physical, mental, emotional and toxic traumas for deep, lasting healing. There is no single "magic bullet" for healing, in spite of many claims and only a few true "overnight miracles." Sequential/Integrative Homeopathy neither claims nor promises either of the above, but it makes sense to the body by releasing the traumas in a chronological sequence, from most recent to most distant event. As each layer is released, the next becomes visible, about a month later, requiring a new remedy or group of remedies, carefully matched to that next layer. Gradually the client will work back through his/her entire personal life history of traumas and toxic exposures, medications, vaccines, etc., repairing the damage along the way through healing of both causative event and the symptoms each has caused. The approach has proven effective in case after case with vaccine injury, chronic illnesses, learning and behavioral problems, emotional "baggage" and nagging, persistent physical and emotional health issues.
Our Purpose:
At Houston School of Homeopathy it is our intention to help educate consumers and professional homeopaths to meet the holistic health needs of modern society.
We believe in freedom of choice in healthcare, and believe that homeopathy is a logical answer to many health issues, both minor and more chronic in nature. We believe that we are empowering consumers to have more control over the choices available to them by teaching them basic knowledge of how to use homeopathic remedies for acute, self-limiting illnesses or minor injuries, or as a support method for healing with conventional medicine. We also believe that Americans should be given opportunities to use alternative practitioners when indicated for chronic or more serious conditions, either as an alternative to, or as a support along with conventional medical interventions. With this in mind, we feel that education and knowledge are always essential to freedom.
It is our purpose to equip the practitioner program student with the knowledge, tools and experience necessary to become a competent, ethical practitioner who will be professionally satisfied, and who can represent homeopathy as a mainstay of modern holistic healthcare practices. HSH emphasizes small enrollment (maximums of 3 to 10 students per year in our practitioner diploma programs, 10-15 for our short-session classes and workshops), mentorship and clinical experience as the backbone of our practitioner programs.
As we progress into the 21st century we feel that the demand for practitioners of homeopathy will rise. With it will come a better legal atmosphere in which to practice. This has already been seen in Ontario, Canada, as well as California, Minnesota, and Michigan, where alternative practitioners are free to practice so long as they disclose their training and credentials. Other states are likely to follow suit. Please understand that undertaking any of the diploma or consumer course offered by Houston School of Homeopathy does not alone constitute a license or certification to practice homeopathy. No such representation or legal guarantees are or can be made, and each state has its own set of practice laws and statutes. Please consult your state's governing body regarding educational, certification or licensure requirements.
This program is currently not an accredited program, but we are applying for accreditation.
