Lynn Rose Demartini, DSH-P, RN, LMT.

Lynn Rose Demartini, a Sequential Integrative Homeopathic Practitioner, a Registered Nurse, Licensed Massage Therapist and CPR/First Aid Instructor, has studied alternative means of health maintenance and healing for over 30 years. Her first encounter in the healing field was with Chiropractic and Reflexology and she was instrumental in guiding her brother into the Chiropractic profession, as well. He has since gone on to lecture and teach about the Universal Laws of the Universe and assist others in their personal growth.

She had always been a voracious reader on the topics of nutrition and herbology. The times were not then ripe for considering a lucrative career in "non-mainstream medicine," so instead she attended Wharton County Jr. College Nursing School from 1989 - 1991 and received her ADN-RN degree. Thankful to have that credential, but completely disillusioned with allopathic medicine after a couple of years in ER and ICU nursing at Hermann Hospital, she went along complacently until introduced to Healing Touch and Energetic Healing and subsequently took a number of classes in energy work, opening up to her a whole new vista in health care - Energy Medicine - the health care of the future – of which Homeopathy is a vital part of.  In a class called "Energetic Transformation" she was initially inspired to learn more about spirit intrusion and release and developed the desire to write about it and did publish. She completed training as a Homeopathic Care Practitioner and advanced training in Sequential Integrative Homeopathy, which provided her an incredibly useful method to assist people in removing the residues of trauma and toxicity from their body and allowing the body to heal itself.

She began as a client with Cindy Griffin over 10 years ago and when offered the chance to take basic and advanced training she jumped on the opportunity.  Here was a career she could do in lieu of the “jobs” that she had been resolved to do.  She still believes that she was placed in those positions to see the decline in health of the public as a result of current institutional mandated practices that she now believes to be harmful.  Frustrated with being the “out of the box” rogue in her profession, it was like a drink of cool water to be offered a position with Houston Homeopathy Center and follow a calling.

There is nothing new under the sun and “alternative” healing has been with us for centuries and predated the current mainstream business of allopathic medicine.  The old tried and true is now enjoying a reawakening with the public due to their disillusionment with the present mainstream (lack of) care and mechanical objective approach to the body.

She continues to study and experience different modalities: Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage and other somatic body work options, Reflexology, Reiki, Healing Touch, Energetic Healing, sound/color/music therapies, Aromatherapy, Flower Essences, Colon Hydrotherapy, Herbology, Gemology, Crystal Therapy, Dowsing, Nutrition, BEFE, Radionics, EFT, PEAT, NAET and Homeopathy and others.

In the past she retired from volunteer work in the Fire Service, Law Enforcement, and EMS as a fire-fighter, arson investigator and emergency medical technician and instructor, as well as a peer member of the Bluebonnet Critical Incident Stress Management Team. She continues to teach CPR/First Aid classes in the community for the Red Cross. She also worked as a Dental Chairside Assistant for 4 years in a dental clinic, attended William's Institute in Katy, Texas for Massage Therapy training and became a Registered (Licensed) Massage Therapist in 2000.

She previously worked full-time as a Public Health Registered Nurse in Fort Bend County for 9 years.  She was most recently the Nurse at Elgin High School in Elgin, Texas, east of Austin before embarking on an association with the awesome ladies at the Homeopathy Center of Houston to begin a full-time career in Homeopathy in the Fall of 2008.   She brings the additional research to the practice on the negative effects of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and the various types and sources of the best waters for optimum health.

She lives in the peaceful, sandy, oak and juniper woods of McDade, Texas and has one son, Brian, who is the light of her life and one of her primary challenges, who has attained his Eagle Scout rank, completed a tour in the Air Force training to further a career in computer maintenance and troubleshooting and has successfully acquired a lucrative position up in the Wyoming area.
